  13.      The accompanying program <READ_TXT.PRG> is a shareware 
  14. contribution Copyrighted by ASDE Inc.

  16.      Simply double click on READ_TXT.PRG and choose a text to 
  17. read. The program has online help at all points.
  18.  
  19.  
  20.      The program permits very quick loading of text files so that 
  21. it is almost as quick to use as the desk top <SHOW FILE> option.  
  22. It is however vastly more sophisticated than the desk top reader, 
  23. since it permits you to go back and forth from one page to the 
  24. next or previous page. It also permits you to jump forward or back 
  25. to any page number.  The program does not scroll a page on 
  26. screen but displays it all at once, this greatly diminishes eye 
  27. fatigue while reading long texts.  The title of the text being 
  28. read as well as the present page number and last page number are 
  29. displayed on the last line of the screen.

  31.      A book like frame has been added around the text to create an 
  32. more pleasant reading environment.  Page changes, either forward or 
  33. backward are graphically displayed by a figurative page flipping 
  34. of the right or left topmost corner.
  35.  
  36.      For text files other than ST REPORT, you may find that the 
  37. cover page created by the program is not quite right.  You can 
  38. simply overlook this as it will not affect reading the text later. 
  39. If you prefer, you can correct the cover page by changing the 
  40. first few lines of the text to be read so that they follow a 
  41. format similar to the first page of ST REPORT.  The program 
  42. neglects blank lines left in the first page.
